Weekend In Penticton BC

Coady Cabana http://www.mjcoady.com/  is this amazing one-of-a-kind B&B nesled in the middle of vineyards and orchards with the most amazing view of Okanagan Lake and Penticton. I was lucky enough to stay here for my weekend. At night the city lights twinkle in the distance and the sound of crickets fills the air. Waking up in the morning to a view of Okanakan Lake and the rolling emerald landscape from the bed was a dream come true.

The reason for the adventure to Penticton was our first Christmas Market. The pics below show our setup on the Historic SS Sicamous.  I had a great time with my girl Nicki, people watching and meeting  other vendors. The paddle wheeler is 99 years old and has undergone amazing restoration. My favorite part of the boat was on the main deck. The wood work and stained glass windows are breathtaking.

Topping off this wonderful girls/work weekend we visited Theoz

Hot Platter -A platter of assorted hot appetizers featuring kalamari, chicken livers, dolmathes, spinach pie, tiropita and chicken in phyllo.

Saganaki -Greek Kefalograviera cheese, pan-fried and finished with lemon and brandy.

Pinot gris wine by Red Rooster http://www.redroosterwinery.com/
